A quiet memorial park directly opposite the Cellular Jail, dedicated to Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and the freedom fighters imprisoned alongside him during the Kalapani era.

History & Highlights

Freedom Fighter Statues: Five to six statues of revolutionaries who were held at the Cellular Jail, with Veer Savarkar's the most prominent, giving the park its name.
Hilltop View: A raised vantage point gives a pleasant view over Port Blair from within the park itself.
Genuinely Small & Restful: This isn't a major attraction in its own right — it's a well-maintained, shaded spot to sit for half an hour, with a small children's play area and snack vendors selling tea and green coconuts.
