Rangat Island is located in the Andaman Islands' Middle and South. The road distance from Port Blair is approximately 180 kilometres, and the sea distance is approximately 50 nautical miles (around 90 kilometres). Rangat covers an area of approximately 1070 square kilometres. Despite the fact that the island's population is made up of people from various linguistic groups, residents are mostly heard speaking Bengali or Tamil. The primary occupations of the people on Rangat Island are fishing and agriculture. Amkunj Beach

Rangat Island is a territorial fragment of the famous Middle Andaman island. The beach, located approximately 210 kilometres from the capital Port Blair, is also known as the eco-friendly beach of Rangat and has won accolades for its captivating coastline. Apart from Moorys Dare, this beach, along with Panchavati, forms Rangat's aesthetic trinity. The beach is the colour of rocks and tar, but it is beautiful all day. Even though it is more populated than Cuthbert Bay Beach, you will find a strange solace during your visit there. The beach is located 8 kilometres from Rangat and is open to the public all day.


Mangrove Walkway Dhanih Nallah

The Dhaninallah natural walkway is a 1 kilometer long wooden boardwalk that winds through mangrove creeks for 713 metres before opening up to the incredible Dhaninallah Beach. The Dhaninallah beach is well-known as a sea turtle hatchery. From December to February, the turtles are mostly seen in the nesting grounds. This walkway is India's longest of its kind. This walkway provides visitors with a one-of-a-kind experience. One can observe the diverse mangrove eco-system in one location and then stop at the midway point to sit and relax while admiring the natural view.
